Robert William Scott

Robert "Robbie" William Scott, 23, of Hopewell, passed away unexpectedly on August 24, 2022. He was a 2017 graduate of Hopewell High School and was recently honorably discharged from the United States Navy. He was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Rangers.

Robbie will be missed by his parents, Jody W. and Sharon M. Scott, of Hopewell; brother and sister-in-law, Brandon W. and Victoria A. Scott; and the love of his life - his niece, Joanna L. Scott. He also leaves behind maternal grandparents, William J. and Caroline E. White; aunts and uncles, Mary Ellen and Craig Irvin, Sarah and Justin Hudson, Dennis and Jenny Scott, Janet and Bryan Aprahamian, and Walter and Laura Scott; cousins, Tristan Irvin, Abby Irvin, Colby Hudson, Dylan Hudson, Trent Scott, Nick Ashley, Taylor Scott, Rylee Ashley, Logan Ashley, Troy Scott, Chris Aprahamian, Aaron Aprahamian, Owen Aprahamian, Stephenie Arms and JR Scott.

Robbie was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert "Pop" J. and Sharon M. Scott; and cousin, Zak Scott.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the chapel one hour prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
