Robert Thrower

Robert Exler Thrower, 77, of Petersburg, Virginia, passed away on March 4, 2005 at Walnut Hill Convalescent Center.. He was retired from the United States Army and worked for the United States Government. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ethel Thrower. Mr. Thrower is survived by his wife, Doris Thrower, two sons, Douglas E. and David R. Thrower, one daughter, Marilyn Messer, five grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held in the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Homes and Cremation Service on Thursday, the 10th of March, at 7:00 p.m. with visitation following the service until 8:00 p.m. A graveside service will be conducted at Arlington National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. on March 18th, 2005.
