Robert W. Padgett

Robert Wayne â??Bubbaâ? Padgett, 50, of Courtland passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2010. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and worked for Meherrin Chemical Company for numerous years. He was preceded in death by his father, Isham J. Padgett, Jr., and his sister, Deborah Kay Padgett Krenicky.
Bubba is survived by his mother, Brenda Francis Padgett and Gary White; his children, Justin Matthew Padgett, Leslie Brooke Padgett and Maryanna Hundley; his loving companion, Lisa Holt Lance and her sons, Cody and Dustin Lance; his sisters, Kathy Padgett and Sharon Padgett Cook; nieces, Brittany Padgett, Nicole and Ashley Cook; nephews, Jeffrey Padgett and Daniel Krenicky; and several aunts and uncles.
The family will receive friends at the Purviance Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Thursday, December 30, 2010 from 6 to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 31, 2010 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Waverly Cemetery.
