Robert Whealton

Robert Tayloe Whealton, 67, of Hopewell, died Wednesday, December 1, 2004 in John Randolph Medical Center. He was born in Washington, North Carolina and had been a resident of this area since 1963. Mr. Whealton was a member of DuPont Lodge #289 AF & AM, a member of Powers Memorial Baptist Church and a retired Lab Technician from Allied Signal Corporation and a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was the the son of the late Coleman Brock and Ada Virginia Crenshaw Whealton. Mr. Whealton is survived by his wife, Betsie Bradshaw Whealton of Hopewell, three daughters, Rhonda W. Mueller and her husband Kenneth, Carrie W. Majewski and her husband David, all of Hopewell, Kimberly H. Piner and her husband Bobby of Enon, 8 grandchildren, Elizabeth Majewski, Heather Mueller, Rebecca Mueller, Shannon Mueller, Jessica Mueller, Blake Hatton, Lauryn Piner and Amanda Piner, 1 great granddaughter, Madison Walls. A Masonic memorial service will be held Friday, December 3, 2004 at 7:00PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Visitation will follow until 8:30PM.
