Robert "Bob" Edward Williamson, Sr., 85, of Chesterfield, VA passed away on Friday, May 27, 2022. Born in Richmond, VA, he was the son of the late James C. Williamson, Sr. and Doris M. Williamson. He was also preceded in death by a brother, James C. Williamson, Jr. Bob faithfully serve his country in the US Naval Reserves for 19 years and also retired from Philip Morris, USA Park 500 as a maintenance supervisor after many years of dedicated service. He was a Past President of the National Association of Power Engineers and had taught at Valley Career and Technical Center in Fishersville, VA and James Madison University. Bob was a member of the Chesterfield Master Gardeners Club and was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Colonial Heights. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Frances Carr Williamson; four children, Robert E. Williamson, Jr. (Cynthia), TerriLeigh W. Cummins, Timothy C. Williamson and Patrick L. Williamson (Katie); one brother, Philip W. Williamson (Sylvia); nine grandchildren, Robert Hardy, Kristen Williamson, Robert Williamson III, Robert Cummins III, Brooke Robinson (William), Annastasia Cummins, Whitney Williamson, Jacob Williamson and Isabella Guy; two great-granddaughters, Kynleigh and McKynna Talley; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June, 1, 2022 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, VA.
