Robert Wolfe

Robert Villard Wolfe, 75, of Dinwiddie passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at his residence. He was the son of the late Otis and Iva Fields Wolfe. He was a retired SFC of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean and Vietnam wars. Robert loved his children, grandchildren, and was a playful man as well as an avid golfer. He is survived by his wife, Montana C. Wolfe of Dinwiddie; four sons, Robert Victor Wolfe and wife, Roberta, both retired employees of Philip Morris, of Varina, Larry D. Wolfe and Elizabeth, Craig S. Wolfe & friend, Janice and Victor W. Starr all of Dinwiddie; four daughters, Ramona E. Douglas of Hopewell, Freda W. Swineford and husband, Bill (Trapper) of Disputanta, Tana L. Wright of Dinwiddie and Wendy A. Grimm & husband, Timmy of Prince George; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Reba Joyner of Richmond and Bernice Nelson of Washington. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Friday, April 9, 2010 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A funeral service will be conducted 3:00 pm Saturday, April 10, 2010 at the funeral home. Burial will be 10:00 am Monday, April 12, 2010 at Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Amelia, VA.
