Robert Allen York

Robert Allen York, 73, of Chesterfield, VA, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2023. The son of the late Robert and Evelyn York, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Linda York.
Robert served in the Army National Guard and was a retired civil servant. He volunteered for the Virginia Hunter Education Program as a Master Instructor. He enjoyed hunting and was an outdoor enthusiast. He was a family man and very much God's gift to his loving wife of 50 years, Phyllis.
Robert is survived by Phyllis; his son, Jonathan York and wife, Eliana; his daughter, Jennifer Hoakiko and husband, Charles Hoakiko; two grandchildren, Gabriel and Eva York; a sister, Sandra Norman; and a brother, Joseph York.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, February 9, 2023, at Calvary Baptist Church. The family will receive friends for visitation starting an hour prior to the service, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
