Robin Marie Jackson

Robin Marie Jackson, 53, of Hopewell, VA, passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022. Born in Hopewell, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late, Robert M. "Pat" Chambers. Robin was a United States Army veteran and Licensed Practical Nurse having graduated from the Petersburg School of Nursing. She will be remembered by her family and as a very loving devoted mother, daughter, grandmother and sister. Robin is survived by her mother, Barbara Matheny; four children, Travis Howell (Kelsie), Alissa Bardsley (David), Amaya Jackson and Trevor Jackson; two grandchildren, Elliana and Gunnar; a grandson on the way, Asaiah; and two brothers, Patrick Chambers (Carol Ann) and Robert Chambers. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at Woodlawn Baptist Church in Hopewell, VA with the Rev. Ken Hendricks, officiating. Interment will follow at Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens, Prince George, VA. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Woodlawn Baptist Church, 3512 Virginia St., Hopewell, VA 23860 or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O.
