Rochelle Caudle Minetree Fowler

Marguerite Rochelle Minetree Fowler, 75, of Dinwiddie County, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2013 after a brief battle with cancer. Born in Petersburg, she was the daughter of the late Henry Elvin and Marguerite Humphries Caudle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert “Bobby” Glen Minetree, Sr.; son, Patrick D. Minetree; and brother, Henry E. Caudle, Jr. Mrs. Fowler was a member of West End Baptist Church and worked at Titmus Optical for many years. She loved to fish and to bowl, but most of all, loved her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Charles Roosevelt Fowler; sons, Robert G. “Bert” Minetree, Jr. and Timothy D. Minetree (Jane); daughters, Wanda N. Nordby (David) and Theresa G. Minetree; step-son, Charles Edward Fowler; step-daughters, Nancy Mills (Ikey) and Diane Garner (Hal); sister, Madeline M. Caudle; brother, Brian D. Caudle (Patricia), 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 17th at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Interment will follow at Blandford Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
