Rodney Lee “Tony” Cornman, 49, of Johnson St., Hopewell, Virginia died, Monday, February 16, 2004. He was born in East Liverpool, Ohio and had been a resident of this area for 26 years. Mr. Cornman was predeceased by his parents, Chester Howard and Lois Barr Cornman and a twin brother, Roger Lee Cornman. Surviving are two sisters, Karen L. Shelton of Disputanta, Va., and Joan M. Cornman of Union City, Pa., four brothers, Dennis H. Cornman, Larry E. Snyder and Jack R. Snyder all of Hopewell, James C. Snyder of Disputanta, Va., and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Friday evening from7-8:30 in the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 21, 2004 at noon in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Joseph Faria officiating. Interment will be in the Appomattox Cemetery.
