Roger Michael Franklin

FRANKLIN, Roger Michael, 70, of Prince George, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2017 surrounded by loved ones after a strong fought battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Ruby Franklin. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Brenda Franklin; his children, Sara Leigh Franklin (Larry), Bobby Seay, Heidi Patterson (Brian) and Craig Radcliff (Julie); grandchildren, Sydney, Hunter, Matthew, Hannah, Alivia, Bryce, Parker, Easton, Derek and Kristin; and many friends, including his lifelong friend, Bubba McCutchan. Mike graduated from Augusta Military Academy and retired from Hercules as a Maintenance Supervisor. Mike was the kind of man that could fix just about anything. He learned wood working from his father and went on to become a masterful furniture and cabinet maker. He enjoyed Nascar, outdoor grilling and family gatherings.
