Roger Mcdonald

Roger Roy McDonald, 88, of Prince George County, died Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at his residence. Mr. McDonald was born in Jefferson County, Ohio and had been a long time resident of the Prince George area. He was a retired construction worker. Mr. McDonald was the son of the late Charles Frank & Maude Wombold McDonald. He is survived by his wife, Ella Mae Hicks McDonald, two daughters, Janette Marie Hutto and husband Don of Dothan, AL, Joyce Ann Shephard and husband Michael of Glendale, AZ, a son, Lyndel R. McDonald and wife Tammy of Mobile, AL, and a step-son, Larry W. Baker and wife Alice of San Diego, CA, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 12, 2008 at 2:00 PM in Sycamore United Methodist Church with the Rev. Regina Anderson-Cloud, officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Appomattox Cemetery.
