Roland Ralph Shelburne

Roland Ralph Shelburne, 83, of Richmond, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Freda Boyd Shelburne; four brothers, Julian, William, Frank and Eli Shelburne; and his beloved dog, Cosmo. Roland was an avid fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors. He was a member of Three Chopt Church of Christ. He was a former employee of Allied Chemical Corportation and a retiree of A. H. Robbins Pharmaceutical Company and Ethel Corporation. He is survived by his wife, Patricia R. Shelburne; two daughters, Vicki D. Jeniolionis and husband, Paul, and Sharon S. Boyd; step-daughter, Sandy Irby and husband, Jim; step-son, Glenn Roberson and wife, Lynn; six grandchildren, Sarah J. White and Taylor J. Jeniolionis and fiancé, Gracie Coker, Connor Roberson, Jim Irby, Jack Irby and Ginna Bairby and husband, Andy; great-grandson, Collier White; special dog, Lilly Bean; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 P.M., Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Three Chopt Church of Christ, 9500 Three Chopt Road, Richmond, VA 23229. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 6:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.
