Roma Lockhart

Roma Adkins Lockhart, age 84, of Quinton, VA died on Wednesday, April 12, 2006. She was born in Coeburn, VA to the late Amos and Rachal K. Adkins and later moved to Clintwood, VA, where she raised her own family of seven with her husband, Hannibal ?Hank? Lockhart, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a son, Don Lockhart, and a grandchild, Angela Taylor. Ms. Lockhart leaves behind six children, Kay Justice and husband Norman of Clintwood, Freida Taylor of Richmond, VA, Sue Larson and husband Noel of Quinton, Carol Owen and husband Powhatan of Quinton, Vickie Nestor and husband Jim of Richmond, Jenny Martens and husband Pete of Midlothian, VA; a daughter in law, Sandra Lockhart of Hopewell; seven grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home in Chesterfield on Thursday, April 13 from 6 to 8 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Friday, at 11:00 a.m. Interment is scheduled in Sunset Memorial Park.
