Ronald Dale Anderson, Sr.

Ronald "Dale" Anderson, Sr. passed away on August 28, 2022, at the age of 68. He is survived by his wife, Sarah "Snickie" Seward Anderson; sons, Bryan Neal Lane and his wife, Tina, Ricky Harris Lane and his wife, Cindy; and his grandchildren, Bryanna Lane, Marley Lane, Austin Lane, and Owen Lane. Dale was predeceased by his beloved son, Ronald Dale "Little Dale" Anderson, Jr.; and brother, Robert House, Jr. Dale is also survived by his brothers, Donald W. Anderson and his wife, Rhonda, and George E. "Junie" Anderson, Jr.; his uncle, Charles "Jumbo" Anderson; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Dale was a millwright and worked for many years at Continental Can before working at Philip Morris until his retirement. Dale loved fishing on his boat, "The Bounty Hunter", at Hatteras. Dale was a BIG fan of the Green Bay Packers and was also a shareholder in that organization. He even acquired a piece of the brickwork when Lambeau Field was reconstructed. He also enjoyed spending time at the field with all his children. After he retired, he became interested in woodworking and gardening and spent many hours with his children and grandchildren at his home.
The family will receive friends from 10:00am to 11:00am on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 103 S. Adams St., Petersburg, VA. Funeral service will begin at 11:00am with internment to follow at Southlawn Memorial Park in Prince George.
