Ronald Edward Brown

Ronald Edward Brown, 61, of Petersburg passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 14, 2012 at his home. He is survived by his wife, Theresa Ficarro-Brown; two brothers, Dickie Brown and Steve Mason; two sisters, Emily Dillard and Susie Havens; two daughters, Amber Brown and Missy Stoval; step daughter, Lisa Williams; stepson, Vinnie Ficarro; many grandchildren and one great grandson. He was employed by Tom’s peanuts as a delivery man for a number of years as well as Blue Bunny Ice Cream, and was last employed by the maintenance department for Prince George County until he became disabled in 2006. He was Santa Claus for many generations, volunteered in Hopewell as a referee for Optimist baseball tournaments for many years, and was also active in church and known for his charity in helping the elderly. Ronald will be dearly missed by his loved ones. A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Monday, October 22, 2012 at Christ and Grace Episcopal Church on South Sycamore St., Petersburg, VA 23805.
