Ronald Porter Childress Jr.

Ronald Porter Childress, Jr. 63, of Chesterfield, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2018. Born in Richmond, VA he was the son of the late Ronald Childress, Sr. and Shirley Sprouse Childress. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Michael Childress. He is survived by his devoted son, Ronald P. Childress, III. (Rachel); 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers, Timothy Childress (Teresa) and Troy Childress; devoted aunt, Joyce Nelson (Danny); uncles, Earl Childress and Edwin Childress; and numerous extended family, neighbors, and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 16, 2018 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
