Ronald Lee Davis

Ronald Lee Davis (better known as Shug), 53, of S. Chesterfield passed away on Friday, August 7, 2020. Born October 14, 1966 he was the son of Marion Estelle Davis and the late Royal Leslie Davis, Sr. Ronald was an avid fisherman, enjoyed playing poker and shooting pool. He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Louise Davis-McNeil, aka “Noodle” and husband, Joshua; mother, Marion Estelle Davis aka “Peacock”; brothers, Royal Leslie Davis, Jr. aka “Cricket” (Mary), Rodney Lee Davis “Reekus” (Nancy); sister Rhonda Lynne Davis aka ”Da”; and many nieces, nephews, and other extended family members. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 14, 2020 in the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss Funeral Homes, 103 S. Adams Street, Petersburg, Virginia 23803. Interment will follow in Blandford Cemetery. An open visitation will be held from 1:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at the funeral home.
