Ronald Wayne Havens, 63, of Hopewell, VA died Wednesday, October 6, 2010. He was a native of Brunswick County and had been a long time resident of the Hopewell area.
Mr. Havens was the son of the late William R. and Vivian Traylor Havens and the brother of Billy Havens. He served in the U. S. Army where he earned the Army Commendation Medal and a Purple Heart. Mr. Havens was retired from the Maintenance Department of Virginia American Water Co. He is survived by two daughters, Tara Bowen and her husband Bill, Kim Bostic and her husband Rob, a son, Aaron Havens, three grandsons and two granddaughters. The family is being served by the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. All services are private. Condolences may be registered with www.jtmorriss.com
