Ronald Ray Hosey Jr

Ronald Ray Hosey, Jr., 61, of Covington, VA, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2021. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald R. Hosey, Sr. “Papa”.
He is survived by his children, Chrissy Lowe and her husband, Kevin, and Ronald R. Hosey, III. and his wife, Lindsey; grandchildren, Brooks Lowe, Reid Lowe, Ava Hosey, and Graham Hosey; mother, Linda Hosey; siblings Timothy Allen Hosey, Dennis Richard Lee Hosey, Anthony “Tony” Hosey, and Christopher Len Hosey; nieces and nephews, T.J., Stacey, Blake, Rachel, Amy, Heather, and Roxanne; and special friends, Kermit, Greg, and Bruce.
Ronald Hosey, Jr. was a dedicated employee of WestRock for more than 40 years and was approaching his retirement in April. He enjoyed riding is trike motorcycle, rooting for the Miami Dolphins, playing cards, and especially cherished his time playing chess with his “Papa”. Most of all, he loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 12, 2021 at Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens, 11302 Merchants Hope Rd., North Prince George, VA 23860.
