Ronald Lee Moore

Ronald Lee “Ron” Moore, age 65, of Dinwiddie, VA, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Saturday, December 7, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Forrest Lee Moore and Jermae Simmons Moore. He is survived by his brothers, Kenny Moore, and Robby Moore and wife, Wanda; his sister, Connie Martell and husband, Larry; his sons, Ronnie Wayne Moore and wife, Cindy, Jamie Lee Moore; his daughters, Pamela Moore Scott and husband, Brian, and Rhonda Moore Rainey and husband, Donnie, his grandchildren, Patience Connelly, Courtney McDonald, Kayla Willis, Brandon Scott, Shawn Moore, Matthew Scott, Lana Scott, Jade Moore, Jamison Moore and Jacob Rainey; and his longtime friend and fishing partner, Lewis Henshaw. Ron worked as a self-employed carpenter for most of his life. He loved to fish and hunt, and made a hobby out of collecting fishing lures. He was great at telling fishing stories. He was a wonderful father and grandfather, and will be missed by all. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Ron’s life from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, December 15, 2019 at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
