Ronald Harold Peele Sr.

Ronald Harold Peele, Sr., 77, of North Chesterfield, VA passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2018. Born in Kenly, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Wilbert and Gertrude Bailey Peele. Mr. Peele was a United States Army National Guard veteran and was also a member of the American Legion Post #82 in Saluda VA and the Chester Lodge No.94 A.F. & A.M.. He retired from Reynolds Metals after 33 years of faithful service. Mr. Peele is survived by his wife, Betty F. Peele; a son, Ronald “Bubba” Peele, Jr. (June); one daughter, Betty “Mickie” Richards (Lynn); two grandchildren, Marilyn Peele and Larry Richards; a sister, Jean Higginbotham; a brother, Mike Peele; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the team at Heartland Hospice and Mr. Peele’s caregivers, his daughter Mickie, his granddaughter Marilyn, and Lynn, for the love and compassion shown towards Mr. Peele. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Washington Memorial Park, with the Rev. Randy Blackwell, officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
