Ronald Edmund Peterson

Ronald Edmund Peterson, 84, of South Chesterfield, VA, died peacefully in his home on April 14, 2024. Born and raised in Buffalo, NY, he was the son of the late Edmund and Bertha Peterson. He was a loving husband and father, he worked as a Consulting Engineer in instrument control for about 30 years at Allied Signal and Honeywell. He enjoyed wood working, flying radio-controlled model airplanes, and photography, spending much of his time at local horse shows as the photographer. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Paula Ann Peterson; son, Curt Peterson, of Gig Harbor, WA; daughter, Cheryl Collins, of East Concord, NY; daughter, Dawn Peterson and her husband, Steve Overgard, of South Chesterfield, VA; sister, Patricia Young, of Olean, NY. A graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at Bermuda Memorial Park, in Chester.
