Ronald John Roller

Ronald John Roller, 85, of Petersburg, passed away on December 13, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Christine Roller and his wife, Mildred Page Roller. Ronald was a retired 1st class Master Sergeant who served over 20 years in the United States Army. He was active in the community, assisting various business with setting up websites, especially the Mad Italian restaurant. He will be remembered as being generous, kind, and helpful to everyone he came into contact with. Ronald is survived by his daughter, Rhonda P. Roller; stepdaughter, Cindy P. Counter; grandchildren, Susan Wolfe-Powell (Adam) and Jeffrey Savoy; great-grandchildren, Zoe Powell and Chynna Savoy; brother, Fred Roller; sister, Darlene “Cookie” Hein (John); youngest sister, Debbie Salem; long time partner and special friend, Doris F. Gilliland; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home – Petersburg, 103 S. Adams Street, on Monday, December 20, 2021 from 6-8 PM.
