Ronald "Ronnie" Sterling Spain

Ronald “Ronnie” Spain Sr., 65, of Chesterfield, passed away on May 25, 2021. Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, David Spain and Joanne Tate; brother, Buddy Spain; and sister, Barbara Satterwhite. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Darlene Spain; son, Ronnie Spain, Jr.; daughter, Elizabeth Cox (Billy); grandchildren, Devin Spain and Alyssa Cox; sisters, Gail Walker (Ronnie) and Shirley Yarbrough (Steve); and an extended host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ronnie had a great sense of humor. He loved to camp and spend time outdoors. Ronnie worked and retired from Yellow Freight after 20 years, and he spent his career in the trucking industry. He was a good man who would do anything for anyone. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 2 from 5-8 PM at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home – Chester.
