Ronald Webb

Webb, Ronald Edward, 73, of Chester, passed away June 5, 2007. He was born June 7, 1933, in Hillsville, Virginia, to William Crockett and Ruth DeHaven Webb. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Darlo S. Webb; children, Gary Webb and his wife Beth of Fredericksburg, Janice Schmidt and her husband, Scott, of Raleigh, NC, and Michael Webb and his wife Jennifer, of Chester; grandchildren, Hilary Schmidt, Andrew Schmidt, and Grace Webb; one sister, Hilda Dickerson and husband Vernon of Roanoke; and several nieces and nephews. Ron was a graduate of Virginia Tech and served in the US Navy. He worked as a mechanical engineer for Hercules Inc, later working for Lumberg and KSB in Richmond. He also recently taught computer classes in Hopewell, VA as a volunteer at the library. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 9, 2007. In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to the American Heart Association.
