Rosa Lee Wingold

Rosa Lee Wingold, 100, of Hopewell, VA passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2018. Born in St. Albans, West Virginia she was the daughter of the late James David and Jennie Lee Roberts Williams; and was also preceded in death by her husband, William F. Wingold, Sr. Mrs. Wingold was retired from the Hopewell News and was a member of West End Presbyterian Church in Hopewell, VA. She is survived by her two sons, William F. Wingold, Jr. and wife, Carolyn and James A. Wingold and wife, Donna; a daughter, Nancy W. Warthan and husband, Bernard; 17 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren; and six great great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service until 4:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
