Rose Mary Fisher

Rose Mary Fisher, 63 of Dinwiddie, VA. passed away Friday January 18, 2013. She was a native of Petersburg born the daughter of the late Charles H. and Edith Wray Jessup, Sr. Rose was employed with King’s BBQ on Washington St. for 27 years. When King’s closed she accepted a position at Guiseppe’s Pizza where she handled the breakfast crowds. Rose loved people and enjoyed cooking many types of foods. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Floyd M. Maitland, Sr.; Children, Jesse “Chip” Lee Harrup, III and his wife, Wendy; Floyd M. Maitland, Jr. and his wife, Jackie, William E. Maitland and his wife, Roxanne, Tammy A. Maitland and Terri L. Hawkins; Grandchildren, Bryce and Bradyn Harrup, Brodie and Levi Maitland, Kiersten Wright, Codie, Chase and Caleb Maitland and Ella Harland; Siblings, Charles “Poodle” Jessup Jr. and his wife, Angel, Kay Lewis and her husband, H.G., Penny Narron and husband Mack, and Danny Jessup Sr. and wife, Donna; numerous nieces and nephews. Her memorial service will be held 6:30 pm Friday, January 25, 2013 at the Dinwiddie Ruritan Building on Courthouse Rd. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made Western Heights Baptist Church, 24416 Cox Road, Petersburg, VA. Family is being served by the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
