Rose Marie Riggins

Rose Marie Riggins, 66, of Dinwiddie, passed away on April 16, 2014. Born in Petersburg, VA she was the daughter of the late Irvin Harris and Catherine McFedrick; and was also preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Riggins, Jr. Mrs. Riggins worked at What-A-Burger in Colonial Heights where she was a cook for many years. She is survived by her three children, Wanda Gibbs and husband, Billy, Dwayne Riggins and Fiancée, Jody, and Cathy Tucker and husband, Bubba; nine grandchildren, Little Billy Gibbs, B.J. Tucker, Whitney Gibbs, Priscilla Gibbs, Justin Storey, Gabriele Gibbs, Austin Tucker, Hunter Tucker and Angel Riggins; one great-granddaughter, Hayleigh See; a sister, Barbara Jean Henshaw and husband, Horace; sister-in-law, Shirley Nealy and husband, Milton; lifelong friend, “Money” Coleman; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 21, 2014 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home.
