Rosemary Veronica Buckley

Rosemary Veronica Buckley, 70, of Colonial Heights, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and friends on October 9, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Nathan and Mary Sue Woodall Hazelwood; son, Preston Spain, III; two brothers, Carl “Chuck” Hazelwood and Frank Hazelwood, Jr.; sister, Margaret Hazelwood. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post # 2 and Eagles Auxiliary post #882. Mrs. Buckley is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Spain Stout; two sons, Julian Jeffery Bailey and Michael Dean Bailey; six grandchildren, Heather, Ashley, Amber, Brett, Noah and Tucker; five great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Thelma Lee Ally and Linda Miles, brother, Tex Hazelwood; companion, Ron Stinecipher and special friend, Mary E. “Liz” Daul. A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Monday, October 14, 2013 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Interment will follow in Blandford Cemetery.
