Rosemary Fischer Eyler, age 84, of Chester, VA, died on Monday, February 25, 2008. She was born in Richmond, VA, the daughter of the late Herman and Rosa Weis Fischer. Rosemary had been a member of St. Annâ??s Catholic Church, Colonial Heights, VA since 1954. She was a secretary at Thomas Dale High School for some time, and worked with Chesterfield County in the Treasurers office as a clerk for many, many years. Rosemary was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and was a very caring and giving person. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ferdinand F. Eyler, and a son, Norman Eyler. Rosemary is survived by her sons, John F. Eyler, Sr. and his wife Teresa of Chester, VA, and Franklin A. Eyler and his wife Sherri of Ramseur, NC; seven grandchildren, Hope Hancock, John Eyler, Jr., Mary Eyler, Grace Eyler, Adam Eyler, Anna Eyler, and Faith Eyler; five great grandchildren, Christopher Hancock, Hunter Hancock, Blake Hancock, Van Eyler-Palmer, and Aiden Eyler; and a sister, Elizabeth Schaefer of Phoenix, AZ. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 27, 2008, from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, February 28, 2008 at 11 a.m. in St. Annâ??s Catholic Church with interment following in Bermuda Memorial Park, Chester, VA.
