Ross Wright

Ross S. Wright, 87, of Hopewell, passed away Thursday December 2, 2010. He was the son of the late Ross V. & Margaret Smay Wright. He was a retired Sgt Maj., from the United States Army after serving 26 years, was a mail handler with the US Post Office for 20 years, was a member of Crater Antique Automobile Club, Antique Automobile Club of America, and loved restoring old cars. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Dorris R. Wright, daughters; Sharon Urish & husband, Jerry of Mayo Florida, Margo Ann Wright of Newport News, Judy Ellen Wright of Hopewell, three grandchildren, Kevin Urish & wife Carmen of Roanoke, Neil Ripani & wife Hannah of Buena Vista, Shaun Ripani of Charlotte, N. C. and one great grand child Tristan Ripani. A memorial service will be held on Saturday December 11, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Rickman of Wesley United Methodist Church officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions my be made to the Wesley United Methodist Church, 2901 Norfolk Street Hopewell, Virginia 23860.
