Roy Coleman

Roy Coleman, 77, of Chesterfield, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2015. Born in Pike County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Roosevelt and Verna Chapman Coleman. He was also preceded in death by four siblings, Glennis Hager, Phillip Coleman, Janis Coleman, and Willis Ray Coleman. Roy was a proud veteran and served his country in the U.S. Airforce. He retired from Honeywell after many dedicated years. He had a passion for playing music and loved carpentry. Roy is survived by his wife of 54 years, Nettie Coleman; two sons, Silas Wayne Coleman and Christopher David Coleman; three grandchildren, Joshua Wayne Coleman, Kristen Coleman, and Carter William Coleman; siblings, Lois Lowe, Jo Ann Golding, Vivian Tobey, Victoria Dotson, Nancy Charles, Keith Coleman; sister-in-law, Peggy Kofahl; and numerous nieces and nephew. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
