Royce Eleyet Nevetral

Royce Eleyet Nevetral, 79, a lifelong resident of Colonial Heights, VA, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023. The son of the late Clifford Paul Nevetral, Sr. and Evelyn Dale Eleyet Nevetral; he was also preceded in death by his sister, Billie Dee Nevetral Wray and husband, Roy; and brother, Clifford Paul Nevetral, Jr.

He retired from Alcoa after 30 years of dedicated service. He will be remembered by his family as a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and uncle.

Royce is survived by his wife of 57 years, Phyllis Faye Gardner Nevetral; daughters, Cynthia Anne Nevetral (Mike), Betty Jo Nevetral Eller, and Billie Jo Nevetral Hudson (Jeff); grandchildren, Hayley Meredith Engels Burrels (Samantha), Jessica Nichole Hudson, Amanda Brooke Engels, and Jordan Neil Hudson; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Norma Jean Nevetral Wicks (Gene) and Carolyn Elizabeth Nevetral Stokes (James); brother, Thomas Roger Nevetral (Chris); sister-in-law, Beverly Nevetral; 13 nieces and nephews; and multiple high school friends from Colonial Heights and Alcoa.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, March 8th, 2023, at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends for visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Tuesday, March 7th, 2023, at the funeral home.
