Ruby Chappell

Ruby Hoverstock Chappell, 91, of Carson, died October 31, 2004. She was the daughter of the late Arlo Sherman and Maude Wells Hoverstock and the widow of Howard Franklin Chappell. She is survived by three sons, Glenn F. Chappell and wife Carol, Elmer Jeter and wife Betty all of Dinwiddie, Arlo K. Jeter and wife Jeri of Petersburg; seven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday, November 5, 2004 in Southlawn Memorial Park. Family will receive friends Thursday from 7-8:30 PM at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Family requests contributions be made to the Carson United Methodist Church, 17407 Halligan Park Road, Carson, VA 23830.
