Ruby Mae Jones Craven

Ruby Mae Jones Craven, of S. Chesterfield, died Saturday, December 21, 2013. She was born the daughter of the late Samuel T. and Fannie Turner Jones. Mrs. Craven was retired from Firestone in Hopewell and then later from Philip Morris. She is survived by her husband Edward Craven; son Michael Jones of Roanoke Rapids, NC; granddaughter Brittany Jones of Roanoke Rapids, NC; step-grandchildren, Kayla Young and Hunter Rusnak; and a brother Tommy Jones of Roanoke Rapids, NC; a step-daughter Rhonda Craven Rusnak; two sisters-in-law Sheila Craven Minor and Darlene M. Craven; and brother-in-law John A. Craven; niece, Jeanna Jones Dunlow of Roanoke Rapids, NC; 2 great-nieces, Morgan Paine Dunlop and Hayley Daryl Dunlow of Roanoke Rapids, NC; nephew, Timothy Eugene Jones of Clemmons, NC. There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, December 24th, at 11:00 AM in Appomattox Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
