Ruby Marie McAllister, 55, of Dinwiddie, passed away at her residence on July 31, 2010. She was the daughter of the late Mack W. and Elsie Slaven McAllister, and was also preceded in death by a brother, M. Eugene McAllister. She was a former employee of Philip Morris. She fought a lifelong battle with MD with amazing courage, never letting it get her down. Blessed with the gift of gab, she lived life to the fullest. She attended White Oak United Methodist Church. Ms. McAllister is survived by her son, Jason B. Fore Sr., of WA.; three grandsons; two brothers, William T. McAllister, and Betty, of Chesterfield, Daniel L. McAllister, and Sandra of Alberta; a sister, Mary Jane Harvey, and Tommy, of Dinwiddie; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. The Family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A Funeral Service will follow at 7 PM, with the Rev. Gene C. Tatum officiating. Inurnment will be held in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at 10 AM.
