Ruby Burrow McCoy, 93, of Prince George, died Saturday, Feb. 19, 2005 in John Randolph Nursing Home. She was born in Burrowsville, VA. And was a former resident of Old Richmond Ave., Richmond. Mrs. McCoy was a retired Kindergarten teacher at Trinity United Methodist Church, Richmond, a volunteer at St. Mary?s Hospital, Richmond, a former member of St. Matthews Episcopal Church, Richmond and presently a member of Merchants Hope Episcopal Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Waverly Lucas and Mary Virginia Louhridge Burrow, her first husband, Clyde ?Billy? Morris and second husband, William Vernon McCoy and a daughter, Anne Morris Moore. Surviving are a daughter, Nancy Morris Uram of Williamsburg, three grandchildren, Molly Green, Sally Lentz and S. D. Roberts Moore, Jr. all of Annapolis, MD., six great-grandchildren, and a sister, Marion Burrow Williams of Prince George. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 23, 2005 fr4om 12 noon to 1 PM. at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Bruce Bevans, Rector of St. John Episcopal Church, officiating.
