Ruby Sapp Nicol

Ruby Sapp Nicol, 90, of Hopewell, passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Ollie Slate Sapp; husband Walter Nicol, sister, Janice Marcus; and brothers, Howard Sapp and Leo Sapp. Ruby worked as a key punch operator at Allied Chemical for many years. She was a member of the Women of the Moose Chapter 1180 and American Legion Auxiliary Post 146. She is survived by her brother, Kenneth Sapp; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens. The family is being served by the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
