Ruby Poole

Ruby Mason Poole, 91, of Hopewell, formerly of McKenney, VA died on Thursday, April 17, 2008. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Claire May Phipps Mason and the widow of Edward E. Poole, Sr. Ruby was a retired school teacher with Prince George County School System. She is survived by a son, Edward E. Poole, Jr. and wife, Marilyn; daughter, Willie Anna Denton and husband, Thomas; son-nephew, Earl Paul Mason; grandson, Edward E. Poole, III; granddaughters, Rebecca E. Denton and Laura L. Denton; great grandson, Edward E. Poole, IV; sister, Mabel Mason Williams and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Friday, April 18, 2008 from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm on Saturday, April 19, 2008 at Asbury United Methodist Church, McKenney, VA.
