Ruby Mooring Walston

Ruby Walston, 85, of Hopewell, passed away on Wednesday surrounded by her family. Ruby was an active member of The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo Lester and Shirley Inez Mooring; her husband, Gordon Leon Walston; her son, Gordon Anthony "Tony" Walston; her daughter, Wanda Walston Firment; and her brothers, Bobby Gene Mooring and Lois Leo "LL" Mooring. She is survived by her granddaughters, Kelly Walston Thompson (Jamie), Janine Firment, Jennifer Firment Blackburn; great-granddaughters, Raven Hill, Madison Scott, Sydney Blackburn; step-great-grandchildren, Kristopher Thompson and Amber Thompson; great-great-grandsons, Bentley Scott and Kohen Scott; son-in-law, Mike Firment; brothers-in-law, Phillip Walston (Suzanne), Joseph "Bud" Walston; sisters-in-law, Vinnie Mooring and Penny Walston.
