Ruth Ann Brown, 90, of Chesterfield County passed away peacefully and went to be with the Lord on May 26, 2018. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and devoted her life to loving her family. She was the daughter of the late George Stringfield and Ada Stringfield. Mrs. Brown was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Colonial Heights since 1955 where she was a member of the choir and a dedicated nursery worker, along with her husband for 20 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Wallace Lloyd Brown, Jr.; daughter Terry McDonald and husband, Grover, daughter Carolyn Broughton and husband, Eric; grandson Clay McDonald and wife, Lauren, grandson Lloyd McDonald and wife, Erin and grandson Seth Broughton; step-granddaughter Kristin Wicichowski and husband, Matthew, step-grandson, Jason Broughton and wife, Nicole, step-great-grandchildren, Berkley, Matthew and Colton Wicichowski, Cory and Katie Broughton; nieces, Patricia Foster and husband, Bennie, and Rita Lipford; nephew Larry Branzelle and wife, Sheila; and many great nieces and nephews. She is also preceded in death by her sisters, Hazel Lipford and Etta Branzelle. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday, May 30th at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, May 31st at Immanuel Baptist Church with entombment to follow in Southlawn Memorial Park. Condolences may be registered at
