Ruth Coon

Ruth Hursey Coon, 77, of Ettrick, widow of Frank Coon, passed away Friday, July 31, 2009. Mrs. Coon was a resident of Ettrick for over 50 years and a longtime member of Ettrick Baptist Church. She is survived by her sons, Wayne Andrews and wife, Debbie, James Andrews and wife, Mary Grace, and Herbert Andrews, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a dear friend of 43 years, Margaret Harpole. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Sunday, August 2nd, at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, at Southlawn Memorial Park.
