Mrs. Ruth T. Epps, 101 of Prince George, died Thursday, December 9, 2004. She was a native of Dinwiddie County, the daughter of the late Augustus Pendleton and Beulah Bain Thrift. She was the widow of William Hamlin Epps. During World War II, Mrs. Epps worked for the Selective Service System for Prince George County. She is survived by two sons, Wallace W Epps, Sr. and his wife, Patricia and John R. Epps, all of Prince George County; three grandchildren, Melissa Watts (Rob) of Chester, Melinda Blanchard (Walt) of Prince George, Wallace Warren Epps, Jr. (Kathy) of Chester; six great grandchildren, Brendon Watts, Kyle Blanchard, Tyler Blanchard, Haley Blanchard, Andrew Epps and Rachal Epps. Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 am Monday, December 13, 2004 at Southlawn Memorial Park. The family is being served by the J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, Petersburg.
