Ruth McLeod Harvey, 84, of Chester, passed away on Friday, December 3, 2010. Born in Hopewell, the daughter of James Lawrence and Lauretta Faircloth McLeod. She was a loving mother and homemaker. She is survived by her son, Mark Christopher Harvey. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at 11 a.m. in Sunset Memorial Park with Dr. Ivan Perkinson, officiating.
