Ruth Hughes

Ruth Marie Hughes, 76, of Petersburg, passed away Friday January 16, 2009. She was the daughter of the late Hugh & Bessie Vaughan Bailey and the widow of retired CWO3 William Jamie Hughes. Ruth was employed as a fulltime sales representative at Thalhimers and a part time Sales representative at J.C. Pennyâ??s and retired after a combined time of 15 years dedicated service. She is survived by her daughter Debbie H. Winall of Stallings, NC, sister: Bessie Chumney & husband Sonny of Lunenburg Co., brother; Hugh Bailey, Jr. & wife Audrey of Wylliesburg, one niece and one nephew. Services will be private.
