Ruth Everette Seal Orton

Ruth Everette Seal Orton, 94, of King George VA passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, after a long illness. Born in Petersburg, VA, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Everett Seal and Virginia Eurcelle Kinker Seal. Mrs. Orton was a wonderful homemaker, wife and mother, and loved her family dearly. She will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Lee Orton; granddaughter, Shannon Renee Brooks; and three sisters. Mrs. Orton is survived by two daughters, Sharon Rose Orton and Melinda Sue Ohlmeyer; son-in-law Ernest J. Ohlmeyer; grandson, Matthew H. Daniels; two great-grandchildren, Joseph Daniels and Nora Daniels; and brother, John Seal. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, February 18, 2019 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Entombment will follow at Southlawn Memorial Park.
