Ruth Royal

Ruth Elaine Royal, 59, of Dinwiddie passed away on Wednesday, July 08, 2009. Born October 25, 1949, Ruth was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. She lived in Dinwiddie County for over twenty years and attended Grace Baptist Church on River Road. She is survived by her husband, John E. Royal of Dinwiddie, VA; three children, Kenneth Yonts Jr. of Stone Mountain, GA, Daniel Yonts of Orlando, FL, and Kimberly Stegall of Braselton, GA; six grandchildren, Travis Hinchey, Alexandra Yonts, Dustin Yonts, Cannon Yonts, William Stegall and Ella Yonts; four brothers and two sisters, Katherine Sprowles of Powatan, VA, Arthur Hinton, Jr. of Chesterfield, VA, Daniel Hinton of Maryland, Thomas Hinton of Richmond, VA, James Hinton of Chesterfield, VA, and Barbara Burley of Chester, VA. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, July 11 2009, at Grace Baptist Church with Rev. Raleigh B. Nunnally, Jr. officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace Baptist Church, 23814 River Road, Petersburg, VA 23803 in care of either the Church Mission Fund or for the School.
