Ruth Pangle Titterington

Ruth Lena Pangle Titterington, age 94, died peacefully in Crozet, Virginia on November 27, 2021. Ruth lived most of her life in Winchester, Virginia until she married the love of her life, Walter Titterington, and moved to Hopewell, Virginia where they raised their family and were proud founders of Wesley United Methodist Church. Ruth and Walter moved to Charlottesville after retirement to be near family. Ruth is survived by her three daughters, Carol Ziemer, Rae Cunningham, and Betty Titterington, seven grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Ruth was a loving wife and matriarch and an accomplished seamstress, knitter and crocheter. She had the voice of an angel and an uncanny memory for every song she had ever learned from early childhood until old age, singing in a talent show at English Meadows Assisted Living this past summer to great applause. She leaves behind hundreds of lovingly handmade works of artistic stitchery and happy memories for all who loved her.
