Ryan Scott “Bulldog” Burton, 28, of Matoaca, passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2017. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Burton, Sr.; grandfather, Elmer Elder; and grandfather-in-law, John D. Rock. Bulldog is survived by his wife, Angela Burton; children, Jonathan, Madlyn, Kayleigh, and Ayden; mother, Teresa Elder Sutherland and her husband, Terry; brothers, Bobby Burton, T.J. Sutherland, Adam Burton, Jason Sutherland, and Tyler Boykin; sisters, Chassey Hollowell and Amanda Boykin; grandmother, Mary Ashley; mother-in-law, Laura Faulkner; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service.
